I know I'm probably a dork for getting so excited about things, but I'm really excited about this! A few days ago, WeLoveFine decided to feature my shirts on their website! I have my own fancy little banner, and you can ask me questions about my art and stuff... (but you can do that here, too!)

I've struggled my entire life doing horrible graphic design jobs that I completely hated, like annual reports for banks and faxes for vaccine places. I even had to personify a colostomy bag once and make a cartoon about it.

Anyway, I know I sound like a broken record, but I just want to thank all of you guys who have looked at my art, commented on it, favorited it, and supported me through all of this.

I want to just thank all of you who have supported me in my artistic endeavors over the years. I read every single comment and it keeps me going, so thank you, all of you.

I just wanted to apologize to you all about the flood of Power Rangers images that I posted recently. I entered a Power Rangers Tee Shirt design contest a few weeks ago over at WeLoveFine and the voting just started on the 18th of February. I didn't want to upload my designs until the contest actual was open for rating. So, don't worry, in a few days, your regularly scheduled program of me drawing ponies and anime stuff will resume.

I didn't know very much about the power rangers when I entered this contest, save what I learned from the first Power Rangers SNES games, which I LOVED. I decided to enter this contest to challenge myself and work outside of my comfort zone. I replayed the SNES game and recalled some of the episodes of power rangers that my next door neighbor used to put on when I would babysit him (he was a HUGE fan of the green ranger). Then I sat down to draw and four tee shirt designs came out.

What does that mean? I'm glad you asked! Here are some frequently asked questions:

What do you charge?
All of my projects are pretty much on a case by case basis because everything takes a different amount of time. If you want a quote, please note me and we will work out the details. Also, since i am a freelance illustrator, my schedule is unpredictable, so I reserve the right to turn down any commissions. It doesn't mean I hate you or am being malicious, it just means that sometimes things get busy.

I want this extremely explicit or violent image. Can you do it?
I really can't and I'm really sorry. Generally, if it isn't rated G or PG, I won't be able to take it on as a commission. If you are unsure what fits in these guidelines, please do not hesitate to ask me via a note.

What about a large project? Will you be willing to do something like that?  
Definitely note me on this. If my schedule isn't totally filled, it wouldn't be totally out of the realm of possibility.

Are cats awesome?
